Elvin Tsang

Hi, I’m Elvin and I’m Head of Design here at Pinpoint.

In a highly competitive market, one of the ways Pinpoint differentiates itself is through design. It’s in our DNA. Good design is appreciated across the business – its impact felt by customer success, by sales, and most importantly our users.

As a product leader, my job is to make sure we build solutions to real problems while delighting users in the process, in a way that scales with a rapidly evolving product, by ensuring we have the right people, tools, and processes in place.

I have 12 years of experience in design, starting in graphic design and branding, before moving into digital and web design, and finally product design.

Before all that, I spent a couple of years working in the city, in investment banking.

And before that, I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry.

I care deeply about how things work, not just how they look. Ask me a question, and I’ll probably answer you with another one!

As a designer, especially so in a startup, I know that things don't always go to plan. I'd rather see and hear about the messy details, the roadblocks you faced, what you learned and how you grew as a designer. Design processes are rarely linear or perfect, so make sure your case studies reflect this!
