Key Responsibilities

As an Account Executive working from our office in Jersey (or remotely depending on your preference), you’ll introduce potential customers from businesses all over the world to Pinpoint. 

You'll generate your own leads as well as working on opportunities created by our marketing and sales development teams. You'll help prospects understand the value of Pinpoint and play a key role in building our brand by creating a great first impression. 

But this isn't your usual AE role. We don't want someone who will blindly follow processes. We're in the early days of building a world-class sales organization and you'll have the opportunity to shape it the way you want by helping us develop scalable systems and processes. In return we’ll offer you the freedom to do things your way, and to learn and progress as fast as you like.

If you’re a self-starter who wants to join a high-growth business and who’s keen to make a massive impact in a sales team that’s still finding its feet, we want to hear from you. Day-to-day, you'll be:
  • Managing the full sales cycle taking a consultative approach and ensuring we turn our best-fit prospects into happy customers
  • Qualifying and converting prospects created by the marketing and sales development teams whilst prospecting to your own book of prospects
  • Creating product demos tailored to each client
  • Providing timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on performance by keeping our CRM system up to date
  • Documenting and sharing what you're testing and learning so that the whole team can learn from your experience
  • Contributing to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
  • Working with cross-functional teams like marketing and product to develop new content 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

We're looking for people that are passionate about what we do and that can quickly understand / reverse-engineer a prospect's business, shaping the sales message to their specific requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • 2+ years' work experience in a closing role at a growth stage SaaS business selling to enterprise / mid-market
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional listening skills and the ability to assess information quickly 
  • Understand how to tell compelling stories that offer valuable perspectives
  • The ability to learn fast and get up to speed with our systems and processes quickly 
  • An engineering mindset (i.e. you like systems and making decisions based on data) 
  • A desire and ability to perform exceptionally well in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
