What I do at Pinpoint
In short, I make sure we build something that we're incredibly proud of.
More specifically, I own the entire development methodology, grow technical leaders and nurture the development team as a whole, provide technical strategy and design, and interface with other areas of the business to provide technical solutions to business problems.

Who am I?
I'm an engineer at heart so I love building things and problem solving. I'm a mechanic, a woodsman, and a carpenter as well as a software engineer.
I fell into the programming world due to necessity - I taught myself to code in order to write a piece of game selection software to aid with playing online poker. I turned the software into a business and ran it for a few years before meeting Pinpoint CEO Tom Hacquoil, who got me into web development.

Tom and I worked together at his previous business, and then for four years at Calligo, a cloud computing company, prior to starting Pinpoint.
I'm the kind of curious chap who wants to find out the limitations of things. Because of this I've always thought I'd die in an unfortunate ride on lawnmower accident. I have a ride on lawnmower so this is a distinct possibility.
